Salt Creek Trail in Nashville Indiana

Salt Creek Trail is the first paved trail in Brown County and was opened on November 8th, 2013. This scenic trail is three fourths of a mile. There are two trail heads located at the southeast corner of the Nashville CVS or the southeast corner of the YMCA parking lot.

The trail is in the first phase out of four potential phases. If the trail reaches its full potential this would make the trail over three miles long. This would add new trail heads at the state park and near the tennis courts of the Brown County High School.

Brown County Parks & Recreation is responsible for trail maintenance. Since we are unable to check the trail on a daily basis, please notify us immediately of any issues you notice on the trail. With this help from the community, we will do our best to keep Salt Creek Trail in the best condition possible for all to use. We are also always looking for trail maintenance volunteers. If  you are interested, please call our office. You can reach us at at (812) 988-5522 or email us at rudda@browncounty-in.us.
